What the letters mean
- LISW — Licensed Independent Social Worker, licensed to practice independently in Ohio.
- LISW-S — Licensed Independent Social Worker with Ohio’s supervisory designation, meaning the clinician practices independently and supervises other clinicians.
- LPCC-S — Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with the same supervisory designation.
- LICDC — Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor, a separate license for treating substance use. -CS adds clinical supervision.
